West Virginia Legislature

The West Virginia Legislature passed House Bill 2014, the Budget Bill, in just three days of an extended session.
Today the Senate completed Senate Bill 105,which would allow rule making authority relating to administration, collection and enforcement of local sales, use and excise taxes by the Tax Commissioner.
The House convened today to consider and pass three bills and adjourn the 1st Extraordinary Session.
The Legislature convened this evening for the 2013 First Extraordinary Session to complete legislation on two bills.
The Senate convened this evening to complete legislation on House Bill 2014 , the Budget Bill and three bills that were vetoed and sent back from Governor Tomblin.
